A Leverage For Mountains

In 2014, Nick and Jay T. started writing songs together shortly after they met. They would spend their days scribbling lyrics and singing, inspired by the endless nature and the surrounding mountain landscapes of Val-des-Monts, Québec. At first, they would perform their unfinished folk songs as a duo at the odd open mic downtown. However, the dream to bring their music to next level grew bigger with every performance. That’s how A Leverage for Mountains came to be.

In 2016, they met Flynn at an open mic, whom they later hired as a collaborating musician for their debut E.P. titled The Essence Project.
The night the recording process was complete, the three guys headed to a small café-bar in downtown Drummondville to celebrate. What started as a laidback evening quickly became a spontaneous jam session on the terrasse. The unsuspecting clients turned their chairs and tables to listen to to the music and cheers. People walking by stopped to witness the spectacle. It’s at that moment that the three guys truly discovered the magical chemistry they shared as a trio. After a full year of shows, Flynn officially joined in early 2017 and they haven’t looked back since.
